I never set out to be an author. I always preferred speaking, consulting and talking. One of my mentors, Matt Church, told me to write a book as a way to showcase my expertise, but it took me years to get my act together and I finally published my first book My China Insights: How Business Gets Done in 2017.
And then we had the lockdown. After 25 years of travelling around the world, particularly to China, Asia and the three other BRIC countries, I never had much time for writing. Life seemed to fly past in a whirlwind of flights, airports, cars, lunches, dinners and iconic sites in glamorous locations. And then it all came to a grinding halt in early 2020.
Without really noticing, it seems that I’ve now written six books in just over two years. Having been confined to a desk and a computer, the ideas, experiences and thoughts have literally poured out of me in ways I never imagined or planned. I never seem to run out of things to write about and, with positive feedback from readers and followers, I’ve kept going.
So here it is…my current collection of nine books which are free to download and enjoy:

We are living in a fast-changing, complex and confusing world and we need to remain curious, open, balanced and non-judgemental. Governments and media play a role in shaping ideas and thoughts but, from my experience, it's the views and opinions of people on the ground that really count. And I’ve been lucky to meet so many amazing people, all around the world, who have helped me make sense of what’s really happening, and why it matters.
