We led and organised an Australian HealthTech Mission to the Asian Summit on Global Health in Hong Kong in May 2024. Our targeted five day program was designed to deliver tangible outcomes for our delegates, who were seeking opportunities for capital-raising, local partnerships, and commercialisation.
Our delegates participated in pitch sessions with local investors, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and venture capitalists. We were delighted to be invited to HSBC headquarters to network with their team and also visited Hong Kong Cyberport and Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP), where we learned about the extensive resources, capital, and incentives available in Hong Kong for foreign tech companies.
APACFS LONGVIEW CHINA STUDY TOUR | 2023
During November 2023, David Thomas of APAC Financial Services led a one week study tour to China for the clients of Longview Economics (represented by Chris Watling). The delegates represented large institutions and investors from the US, Europe and Australia. Many were on their first visit to China.
AUSTRALIAN HEALTH-TECH MISSION TO ASIA | 2023
The Australian Healthtech Mission to the 3rd Asian Summit on Global Health was the first ever of its kind and enabled our delegates to participate in International Health Week in Hong Kong from 14th to 19th May 2023.
Our delegation was led by David Thomas and Joseph Tse of APAC Financial Services, in collaboration with Michael Woods of Newburyport Partners and Jason Sun. It included leading and innovative healthtech companies from all over Australia, with 9 companies represented and a delegation of over 15 people.

Our 2nd Australian HealthTech Mission to Hong Kong of 2023 was a highly focused, action-packed three day program focused on the delivery of tangible outcomes for our delegates who were seeking opportunities for capital-raising, local partnerships and commercialisation. Our delegation was organised and led by David Thomas, Joseph Tse and Mae-Vel Catcho of APAC Financial Services, in collaboration with Michael Woods of Newburyport.
AUSTRALIAN MISSION TO THE ASIAN FINANCIAL FORUM | 2023
We kicked off 2023 by leading the Australian mission to the 16th Asian Financial Forum (AFF) in Hong Kong.
The Australian delegation was the first to HK for over three years and joined 16 others with more than 200 representatives from mainland China, Canada, Germany, Indonesia, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, and the UAE.
